About Mr. T. Nicholas Tyszka
As the only lawyer in Illinois to serve on the drafting committee for both of the state's prevailing residential forms and as a leader in the land title industry, Nicholas is particularly well-suited for real property disputes. With experience as both a mediator and arbitrator in the Circuit Court of Cook County, he approaches cases with the mindset that while every party wants to have their voice heard, settlement usually ends in a happier outcome than protracted and costly litigation.PROFILE
Experienced transactional attorney with a practice focused primarily on advanced planning for family offices. Representative domestic and international matters include: corporate governance, structuring, taxation, alternative investment opportunities (including real property, private equity and debt, venture capital, and hedge funds), and philanthropic endeavors.
BIOGRAPHY
A problem-solver at his core, Nicholas has developed a reputation among his clients as being able to manage most any challenge – often becoming a quarterback of sorts for affluent families with complex legal issues. While himself adept with real estate matters and a thought leader in his practice area, Nicholas’ best skill is often managing outside resources at moments of urgent need.
