About Hon. Russ W. Hartigan

I have been a practicing plaintiff and defense attorney focusing on civil cases in Cook County and the collar counties for many years. Throughout my career I have settled many cases for clients. As a Judge in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County I instituted an early Mediation Program which resulted in many settlements as well as compliments from the attorneys who participated in the program. I have been a speaker at on CLE programs focused on mediation at the ISBA. I also frequently lecture at CBA, NWSBA and WSBA on civil topics. I try very hard to get settlements done quickly and affordably for the attorneys appearing before me. I am very results driven and look forward to working with you to settle your case.
