About Patrick Markey
I am a family law attorney committed to resolving matters out of court. Mediation has been a part of my practice for most of my legal career. I was first trained in mediation in 2009 and began doing mediation and collaborative law that same year. In 2018, I was accepted in the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) Volunteer mediation program which really helped me strengthen my mediation skills. The CCR method of mediation is for the mediator to be completely neutral. Being 100% neutral is a difficult skill for anyone to learn, especially for an attorney trained to be an advocate. My continued volunteering at CCR has helped me keep my neutrality skills sharp. I have experience mediating all types of cases through CCR, but in my professional practice, I limit it to family law and divorce matters.Information
