About Arthur Murphy

I have practiced law in Illinois since 1979. My first job was at a personal injury defense firm, where I specialized in insurance defense litigation. I tried numerous cases to jury verdict during my tenure there and was made a partner in January of 1984. I left to establish my own firm in April of 1988. My firm’s practice concentrates in insurance defense litigation, residential/commercial real estate matters and arbitration. I have handled all nature of personal injury matters including auto accidents, premises cases, assault and battery cases, dental malpractice, amusement park accidents and dog bite incidents. I have been an arbitrator with the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Program since the beginning of that program in 1990 and have presided over hundreds of hearings. I am a Neutral Arbitrator with the AAA and a frequent arbitrator in private UM/UIM matters. An experienced litigator and arbitrator, a certified mediator, I would be happy to help you to settle your case.
